Eligibility Requirements:

Entry requirements for the MSc in Clinical Diabetes, Endocrine, and Metabolism, a candidates should hold an Iraqi or Arabic followship in internal medicine. 

 

Teaching Commitments:

Trainees are required to be involved in teaching undergraduates, junior medical staff, nurses and other medical personnel. They should also be involved in other departmental activities, which may include:
-  A weekly endocrinology conference
-  A weekly Endocrine Journal Club
-  Grand Rounds Program
-  Inter-hospital Case Presentation
To complete the MSc in Clinical Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolism, trainees are required to participate in both the daily clinical activities of the Faiha Specialized Diabetes, Endocrine, and Metabolism Center (FDEMC) and one or more independent research projects. This research can involve clinical or basic studies which are managed on an individual basis with faculty members.

 

Minimum Training Requirements:

Each trainee should complete two academic years of approved clinical residency at a senior level in adult Clinical adult Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism in Faiha Specialized Diabetes, Endocrine, and Metabolism Center (FDEMC) in Basrah. Each semaster start in October for a completed calender year.
